Monster Tier List

This list ranks hunter types in Lethal Ape Experience. It does not rank rumored names from other ape games. If you want portraits and room ownership, use the lab monsters and forest monsters pages. If you want the drill, use How to Beat Monsters.

S — Overlap and sound hunters in tight geometry

When two types share a junction, the junction is closed. A sound hunter in a metal stairwell is also S because your own panic sprint feeds them. You do not outplay this with a juke. You leave the floor. The How to Escape page exists for that moment.

Headphones on, voice down. If your stack is laughing, you have already paid the S-tier tax.

A — Forest stalkers on a first visit

Outdoor space makes distance feel safe. It is not. Stalkers use fog, ditches, and weather. A first Forest session without a landmark pair is an A-tier wipe waiting to happen. After you can run the forest map loop twice, this rank can drop to B for you personally. The type does not get weaker; you get a compass.

B — Sight hunters in long halls

They look like the main character of the trailer. They are beatable with a hard corner and a refusal to re-peek the same plane. They rise to A if you insist on crossing open labs with loot in hand. They fall to C if you already play camera-first as taught in controls.

C — Ambush hunters you have already marked

A doorway camper is terrifying the first time and optional the second time. Mark the room, loot something else, extract. Ambush types climb the list only when you refuse to skip content. Pride is not a tier; it is how C becomes S.

Unranked — Unconfirmed specials

Event skins, Forest-week exclusive models, and anything a YouTube title calls a “new boss” stay unranked until we can reproduce the behavior in this place ID. The Forest Update can add bodies without adding a new type.

How to use the list in a session

Pick the highest rank you died to last run. Spend the next run refusing that mistake only. Do not try to “clear S.” S is the condition you leave.

If your deaths are all C-tier ambushes, you are greedy, not unlucky. If your deaths are all S-tier overlaps, you are staying in contested junctions. The survival checklist will catch both.

We will rename rows when Breet Studios prints names. We will not import Gus, Saw, or a 52-entry ladder from a different Roblox place just to look complete. Completeness that is false is how wikis get people killed.

Cross-check monster cues so the rank matches a sound you can actually hear tonight.

Rechecking ranks after Forest week

Play one scout lab and one scout Forest after the event tag moves. If a sight hunter now ignores a hard corner, the type changed and the B row moves. If a stalker still loses you on the spine, A can drop for you personally without the list lying to first-timers.

Write the change as a cue, not as a rant. Rants do not update tables. Cues do. The monster cues tool is where that sentence belongs before it belongs here.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Who is the strongest monster?

Overlapping hunters and sound types in metal spaces. There is no confirmed single named boss.

Why isn’t my favorite jumpscare S-tier?

Scare is not cost. If you can walk away, it is not S.

Do Forest monsters outrank lab monsters?

On a first outdoor visit, yes. After you have landmarks, sight hunters in halls may cost more.

Will you add letter ranks for every model?

Only after names and behaviors stay still for more than one patch.
